A message for all you indy writers out there...

At the beginning of August the Prof (His highness, Brian Meeks) wrote a warning, telling us that we were leaving money on the table by under pricing our work.

As a result I upped my prices from $3.99 to $4.99. I also stopped all but one of my permafrees.

I then created box sets out of all of my series' and priced them at $9.98 (4 books per series).

Then I purchased Brian's book and stuck to it's content rigidly. I spent just over $50 on AMS ads over the month.

The results?

Doubled my income! Not sure what manner of aquatic species this makes me but I as long as I'm in the water, I'm happy as a pig in Chardonnay...

Will post next months results end of Sept. Hoping to gain another 30% when my AMS ads kick in. Oorah!
